How long does it take you to design a blog website?
It really depends on a lot of factors! And a lot depends on how soon you get all the details over to me. If I have a clear picture of what you want, then we can get started and done with the design much sooner. I have designed blogs in as little as 3 days to up to a week.
-
Can I get a discount if I get more than one website designed?
Unfortunately not since it takes the same amount of time and effort to design a website regardless of whether I am designing one or ten of them.
-
I already have a design. Can I get a discount on the blog?
Blog websites are already offered at a very discounted rate. You essentially get the design for free so it is really optional if you want me to work on the graphics as well or if you want to provide your own.

How does the whole design process work?
Once payment has been made from your end, we will discuss the website in detail. I will give you a small questionnaire to fill out to help clarify what you want. I will then work on a couple of design options and provide revisions on the chosen option until you are satisfied. The design is converted to XHTML and CSS once a design is finalized.
I will communicate with and get feedback from you every step of the way. This helps ensure there are no misunderstandings throughout the process.

Can we talk on the phone?
Honest answer?
Not my first recommendation.1. It is very easy to get side tracked in a phone conversation. I have spent 2 hours talking to a client about stuff that had nothing to do with their websites. Do remember, time is money :)
2. With emails there is a written record of our conversations. I have something to refer back to. This further avoids any misunderstandings and ensures that I don't miss out anything.
If you really want to talk real time, we can chat on MSN. Contact me for my IM details.

Can you change the content of my page as I just got the website designed?
Please make sure the content you pass to me is the final version. I have had clients pass me 3 to 4 final versions at times. This means that the same page needs to be designed 3 to 4 times. I can make few small changes to your content as long as they are within a reasonable time frame. In other words if you want me to make changes to a website I designed 2 months back, the service is not complimentary.
-
Can I get the website designed for the lower price you quoted 6 months back?
Quotes are only valid for 30 days. That is your window of opportunity to make sure you get the lowest possible price. If you don't accept the quote and make payment within 30 days, then price increases are applicable to you.
-
Do I have to pay for the images used at my website?
Your website, blog and minisite quote includes images worth up to $10. If the images used cost more than this amount, the cost will be added to your bill after the images have been approved by you. If the images cost less than $10, the balance amount is non-refundable.
-
Where do you get your images from?
I get most of my images from IStockphoto.com - it is a great resource for photos as well as illustrations.
-
Do you have a money back guarantee?
Since this is a service and involves a lot of effort on my part, I do not offer a refund option for my design services. However, I do offer unlimited revisions to your design until you are satisfied with what you are getting.
-
What are your payment terms?
If the amount is less than $500, I take 100% advance. If the amount is higher, then a 50% advance works as well.
